  • MISS ME?

I am back!! Yep!!! Bright eyed and bushy tailed. Thought I would give everyone a rest for a few months. My site was not gleaning much interest anyway. So, I have been busy writing and submitting. Won a couple of awards. Garnered a few publications.
My old computer died of some kind of virus. A dear benefactor presented me with a new "old" computer for my birthday last Friday. Bless his heart!!!
I got a kitten for Christmas. My husband presented Tilk to me saying, "At my age he thought I could use a new pussy!" Actually, sweet hubby found it running around the machine shop where he works. She was barely off the tit, filthy, cold and starving. It was touch and go for the first couple of days. Now she is full of piss and vinegar and slowly taking over the house. I will post a picture as soon as I figure out how to do it!
OMG! Just what I hate most. Bloggers posting pictures of their cats.
    I am doomed!

  • I`M HERE!

BUSY! BUSY! BUSY! I have been cleaning the rat fuck out of my house. I will be done with the bedroom in about a half an hour. Then two loads of laundry need to be done. I need to scrub the kitchen floor after dinner tonight. All this because the carpet cleaners are coming some time tomorrow! Don`t want them thinking I live like a pig! I am getting another free carpet cleaning because our downspouts failed again and the living room carpet got soaked about four feet back from the doorwall. I really don`t care if they fix this problem. Every time I get a drop of water on my carpet, I get a free cleaning. WORKS FOR ME!

Next week I need to clean out the closets...again! I can`t find a damn thing in either of them! A lot of it needs to go out into the trash. I am such a pack rat! I am blaming the whole thing on this satanic computer. I lose all track of time and it is such much more fun than dusting.

Guess I will finish this up and jump in the shower! Then I will treat myself to a chef`s salad and start another book. I just finished Blasphemy by Douglas Preston. Great read! Next up.....Atlantis Found by Clive Cussler.

  • BITE ME!

Tuesday was my last dental visit. At least for a while. For the first time in years I am free of dental pain. How great is that?! I am shelving plans for a lower partial. $650 to fill a small gap in my smile is suddenly sticking in my "craw". With gas and food prices climbing every day, I just have a feeling I had best keep what little money we have in the bank. Sweet hubby`s shop decided to lay off a number of employees last week. I was sweating bullets for twenty-four hours. We still got a job! How great is that?! Nonetheless, I have a gut feeling it is time to "pull my horns in", on some of this spending. Here is the thing. If someone is going to judge me by a small gap in my smile, then they are missing out on the best part of me. I think I will buy a new coat instead.
